Downtown Blacksburg Inc. is proud to present our business Member of the Month for November 2018- the P. Buckley Moss Gallery.

We are a Gallery promoting the life and art of Artist And philanthropist P Buckley Moss , hence the name P Buckley Moss Gallery of Blacksburg. We are in Blacksburg because P Buckley Moss has had a relationship with Virginia Tech for over thirty years supplying grants to teachers and organizations and scholarships to students who are studying to become teacher of learning different people.  She has become an active  part of the Virginia Tech community giving of her time and talent to further her mission of reaching children with learning differences through art.  Being the Beneficiary of a scholarship which allowed her to go to College, she knows the importance of giving back in a way that would allow other people, like herself, to excel.

We show art exclusively by  P Buckley Moss but open our gallery to Community sponsored events including the New River Valley friends of the Roanoke Symphony

The Renaissence Music academy, Monkey House Concerts, Va Techs Lifelong learning institute, Family and Alumni Foundation of Virginia Tech, The Roanoke Garden club, The Potpourri Club of Blacksburg, The Rotary Club , Sigma Chi reunion reception, Art Classes from Pulaski County High school , Warm Hearth , among others.

P Buckley Moss is dyslexic and as such knows what it can be like to be seen as “different”. Many people refer to people like herself as learning disabled.

However if you ask her, being dyslexic is not a disability but an extra ability. It is a gift in that it allows you to approach things from a different perspective.

We are a family business employing two other family members, Mary Donnelly and Becky Ghezzi as well as our part time people Sandra Griffith, Victoria Javier, Sue Taylor, Abigail Hickman and Kevin McCurdy.

We are located at 223 Gilbert Street in Blacksburg.

We are Open seven days a week Monday through Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 12-4

We will be holding a Gallery Open House on Saturday December 22 from 11-4 and Sunday December 23rd from 12-3 at which time we will be highlighting our Christmas print and the third print in the Nutcracker series the Sugar Plum Fairy.
